Dr. Alexis Hernández Bonilla was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, and raised in a loving family in Aguada, where he developed his dream of helping others through medicine. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and later completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic.

After earning his degree, he completed his Medical Internship at Hospital Metropolitano Dr. Pila, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, gaining valuable experience in comprehensive patient care. He currently provides high-quality medical care in Lakeland, Florida, focusing on his patients’ well-being.

When he is not in practice, he enjoys astrophotography, spending his free time with his wife and family admiring the night sky.
