Lionel Ramirez Rivera, MD.

Dr. Lionel Ramírez Rivera was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and later obtained his Medical Doctorate from the Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic. He then completed a rotational internship in Manatí, Puerto Rico, gaining extensive clinical experience.

Dr. Ramírez strongly believes that patients who understand their medical conditions achieve the best health outcomes. He moved to Lakeland in April 2021, where he continues to provide comprehensive, patient-focused healthcare.

When he is not working, he enjoys learning new things and spending quality time with his wife and newborn daughter.
